Canadians Shun Reasonable Accommodation

(Angus Reid Global Monitor) – Adults in Canada are not particularly enthused by the concept of reasonable accommodation, according to a poll by Angus Reid Strategies. 54 per cent of respondents believe laws and norms should not be modified to accommodate minorities, while 36 per cent think that, on some occasions, it makes sense to modify specific laws and norms to accommodate minorities.

Michigan U.S. Senate: Stabenow 50%, Bouchard 44%

- Michigan Democrat Debbie Stabenow could earn a new six-year term in the United States Senate, according to the latest poll by Strategic Vision. 50 per cent of respondents in the Great Lake State would vote for Stabenow in the election, while 44 per cent would support Republican Mike Bouchard.
