(CPOD) Sept. 1, 2003 - Just days before the second anniversary of the 9/11 attacks, Americans believe there are still al-Qaeda operatives living in the United States, according to a poll by Gallup. 80 per cent of respondents say there are terrorists associated with Osama bin Laden in American soil.

Al-Qaeda operatives hijacked and crashed four airplanes on Sept. 11, 2001, killing nearly 3,000 people.

Many Americans believe the country will face terrorism again within the next 10 years. Most believe a suicide bombing at a building or public place is likely, but fewer think chemical, biological or nuclear weapons will be used.
