Steady Rating For Bush20040123
(CPOD) Jan. 23, 2004 - The rating for George W. Bush has remained relatively stable for the past three months, according to a poll by ABC News and the Washington Post. 58 per cent of respondents approve of the president's performance.
In his Jan. 20 state of the union address, Bush defended his rationale on the war on terrorism, and proposed a special grant program for job training in community colleges.
Bush's previous policy decisions include the implementation of a "temporary worker program" that would grant legal status to undocumented workers, as well as new exploration missions by the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA).
