Red-Blue “Satisfaction” Split In U.S. Poll

Abstract: (CPOD) Nov. 22, 2004 - United States voters remain split over the 2004 presidential election, according to a poll by Opinion Dynamics released by Fox News. 56 per cent of respondents say they are satisfied with the ballot's outcome, while 41 per cent disagree.

(CPOD) Nov. 22, 2004 - United States voters remain split over the 2004 presidential election, according to a poll by Opinion Dynamics released by Fox News. 56 per cent of respondents say they are satisfied with the ballot's outcome, while 41 per cent disagree.

In American elections, candidates require 270 votes in the Electoral College to win the White House. Earlier this month, Republican incumbent George W. Bush defeated Democratic nominee John Kerry after securing 286 electoral votes from 31 states.

Bush will be sworn in for his second four-year term on Jan. 20, 2005.
