Polish Citizens Support EU Membership
(CPOD) Jun. 6, 2003 - A referendum on Poland's entry into the European Union (EU) appears to have enough support, according to a poll by OBOP. 74 per cent of respondents say they will vote in favour of joining the EU.
The plebiscite will only be binding if 50 per cent of eligible voters cast their ballots. 83 per cent of respondents say they will head to the polls this weekend.
