Pennsylvania (D): Hillary 53.3%, Obama 46.7%

(Angus Reid Global Monitor) - Hillary Rodham Clinton is the top Democratic Party contender in Pennsylvania, according to a review of the last eight publicly released voting intention surveys. 53.3 per cent of decided voters in the Keystone State would back the New York senator in today’s United States presidential primary, while 46.7 per cent would support Illinois senator Barack Obama.

Rodham Clinton is ahead by at least five points in seven of the eight Pennsylvania polls, while Obama has a three-point edge in one.

Obama has so far secured the support of 1,644 pledged delegates and super-delegates, followed by Rodham Clinton with 1,498. Candidates require the backing of at least 2,025 delegates to earn the nomination.

The Democratic National Convention will take place from Aug. 25 to Aug. 28 in Denver, Colorado. The U.S. presidential election is scheduled for Nov. 4.
