(CPOD) Sept. 12, 2003 - Residents of Minnesota want George W. Bush to deal with the country's finances, according to a poll by the Minneapolis Star Tribune. 59 per cent say the American president should focus on the economy, while 21 per cent want action on terrorism.

Residents of the North Star state are concerned about a negative backlash after military action in the Persian Gulf. 66 per cent say the war in Iraq has hurt the nation's standing with the rest of the world.
