Jewish-Americans Back Road Map, Not Bush
(CPOD) Aug. 17, 2003 - Jewish-Americans support the road map for peace, according to a poll by Zogby International commissioned by Americans for Peace Now. 71 per cent of respondents support the recent proposal to avoid future conflict in the Middle East.
An independent Palestine is considered the main provision of the road map for peace, developed by the United States, the United Nations, the European Union and Russia.
Jewish-Americans do not stand behind their president in the Arab-Israeli conflict. 69 per cent have a negative assessment of George W. Bush's involvement in the peace process.
