Flores Gets Failing Grade In El Salvador

(CPOD) Jun. 3, 2003 - Francisco Flores gets failing marks in El Salvador, according to a poll by Universidad Centroamericana José Simeón Cañas. Asked to assess their president with a number from one to 10, respondents graded Flores with a 5.01.

Flores is starting his fifth and final year as president. 46 per cent of respondents say his performance has been bad, and 47.2 per cent say the situation in the Central American country has worsened during his administration.
