Economy, Jobs Top Issues In Singapore
September 27, 2003
(CPOD) Sept. 27, 2003 - Residents of Singapore are worried over the country's financial state, according to a poll by Gallup. 29 per cent of respondents say the economy is the most important issue, followed by unemployment and jobs.
Terrorism and the outbreak of severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome (SARS) are no longer key issues for Singaporeans, and were mentioned by less than 10 per cent of respondents.
