Bush Rating Falls Once More
(CPOD) Apr. 3, 2004 - The rating for George W. Bush continues to drop in the United States, according to a poll by Opinion Dynamics released by Fox News. 47 per cent of respondents approve of the president's performance, a six per cent reduction since February.
On Apr. 1, Bush signed the Unborn Victims of Violence Act into law. The new regulation makes it a crime to harm a fetus during an assault on a pregnant woman
Supporters of the new law believe it represents the first legal recognition of a fetus as a person separate from the woman, while opponents see the regulation as a protective measure that could end up having an effect on abortion rights.
The presidential election is scheduled for Nov. 2.
