Britons Dissatisfied With Blair
(CPOD) Jun. 17, 2003 - The approval rating for Tony Blair continues to slip in Britain, according to a poll by MORI. 38 per cent of respondents are satisfied with the performance of the prime minister, a 10 per cent drop since April.
The search for elusive weapons of mass destruction in Iraq—as well as an ill-timed controversy over the adoption of the Euro—have hurt Blair's numbers.
As far as the most important issues in Britain, 39 per cent of respondents say Blair should concentrate on health care. Race relations, immigration and education are also high on the list.
