Big Lead For Bush In Kentucky20040920

(CPOD) Sept. 20, 2004 - George W. Bush would carry the state of Kentucky in the 2004 United States presidential election, according to a poll by American Research Group. 57 per cent of respondents would vote for the Republican incumbent, while 39 per cent would support Democratic nominee John Kerry.
One per cent of respondents would vote for independent candidate Ralph Nader and four per cent are undecided. The election is scheduled for Nov. 2.
Bush carried the state's eight electoral votes in 2000, defeating Democrat Al Gore with 56.4 per cent of the vote. Kentucky has picked the eventual White House dweller in every presidential election since 1964.
