Bush Has Big Advantage In Wyoming

(CPOD) Sept. 19, 2004 - George W. Bush would carry the state of Wyoming in the 2004 United States presidential election, according to a poll by American Research Group. 65 per cent of respondents would vote for the Republican incumbent, while 29 per cent would support Democratic nominee John Kerry.
Two per cent of respondents would vote for independent candidate Ralph Nader, and three per cent are undecided. The election is scheduled for Nov. 2.
Bush won Wyoming's three electoral votes in the 2000 election with 67.8 per cent of all cast ballots. No Democrat has carried the state since Lyndon Johnson in 1964. Vice-president Dick Cheney is a Wyoming native.
