Bush Would Take Idaho In 2004

(CPOD) Sept. 19, 2004 - George W. Bush would carry the state of Idaho in the 2004 United States presidential election, according to a poll by American Research Group. 59 per cent of respondents would vote for the Republican incumbent, while 30 per cent would support Democratic nominee John Kerry.
Three per cent of respondents would vote for independent candidate Ralph Nader, one per cent would support another contender and seven per cent are undecided. The election is scheduled for Nov. 2.
Bush won Idaho's four electoral votes in the 2000 election with 67.2 per cent of all cast ballots. No Democrat has carried the state since Lyndon B. Johnson in 1964.
