(Angus Reid Global Monitor) - The Conservative party holds a smaller advantage over the governing Labour party in Britain, according to a poll by Populus published in The Times. 41 per cent of respondents would support the Tories in the next election to the House of Commons, while 35 per cent would vote for Labour.

(Angus Reid Global Monitor) - Most adults in Israel adults are not worried about Barack Obama becoming the new president of the United States, according to a poll by Shvakim Panorama released by Israel Radio. 63.3 per cent of respondents are not concerned about Obama’s victory.

(Angus Reid Global Monitor) - Only a third of adults in Japan believe the country should hold a new election to the House of Representatives, according to a poll by Asahi. 57 per cent of respondents think the lower house should not be dissolved at this time.
