(CPOD) Jun. 22, 2003 – A majority of people in 11 countries believe the war in Iraq was unjustified, according to a poll conducted by the British Broadcasting Corporation for the program “What The World Thinks Of America.” On average, 56 per cent of respondents say the United States was wrong to invade Iraq.
(CPOD) Jun. 22, 2003 – A majority of people in 11 countries believe the war in Iraq was unjustified, according to a poll conducted by the British Broadcasting Corporation for the program “What The World Thinks Of America.” On average, 56 per cent of respondents say the United States was wrong to invade Iraq.
Sentiments about the war varied among the polled countries. 79 per cent of Israeli respondents agree with the invasion, but more than 80 per cent of Russians and Jordanians say the war was wrong.
Respondents see the U.S. as an arrogant nation, but also acknowledge the country is friendly, religious and free.
