(CPOD) Jul. 16, 2003 – Americans are concerned over media ownership, according to a poll by the Pew Research Center for the People and the Press. 50 per cent of respondents say a recent decision by the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) will have a negative impact.
(CPOD) Jul. 16, 2003 – Americans are concerned over media ownership, according to a poll by the Pew Research Center for the People and the Press. 50 per cent of respondents say a recent decision by the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) will have a negative impact.
In June, the FCC allowed individual companies to own television stations reaching half the country’s viewers, as well as a combination of newspapers and broadcasters in the same city.
