Lula Still Riding High In Brazil

(CPOD) Jul. 18, 2003 – The high approval rating for Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva continues in Brazil, according to a poll by Sensus. 78 per cent of respondents rate the president’s performance as “good.”

(CPOD) Jul. 18, 2003 – The high approval rating for Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva continues in Brazil, according to a poll by Sensus. 78 per cent of respondents rate the president’s performance as “good.”

Lula is considering an economic stimulus package for the country. The president is looking to avoid a potential recession by boosting consumer spending, and helping the auto industry.
