(CPOD) Sept. 4, 2003 – Residents of New York are dissatisfied with George W. Bush’s policies, according to a poll by Blum and Weprin Associates published in the New York Daily News. 56 per cent of respondents disapprove of the president’s strategy on terrorism, a 14 per cent increase in a year.
(CPOD) Sept. 4, 2003 – Residents of New York are dissatisfied with George W. Bush’s policies, according to a poll by Blum and Weprin Associates published in the New York Daily News. 56 per cent of respondents disapprove of the president’s strategy on terrorism, a 14 per cent increase in a year.
Polls conducted earlier this year suggested Bush might be favored to win New York in the 2004 presidential election. This survey places support for Bush re-election at 20 per cent, while 61 per cent of respondents would back the Democrat nominee.
A Republican presidential candidate has not won New York’s 33 electoral votes since 1984, when Ronald Reagan carried every state except Minnesota, home state to then Democrat candidate Walter Mondale.
