(CPOD) Sept. 11, 2003 – Many Americans believe the war in Iraq has heightened the possibility of terrorist acts in the United States, according to a poll by ABC News. 48 per cent of respondents believe the current military effort in the Persian Gulf increases the risk of further attacks.
(CPOD) Sept. 11, 2003 – Many Americans believe the war in Iraq has heightened the possibility of terrorist acts in the United States, according to a poll by ABC News. 48 per cent of respondents believe the current military effort in the Persian Gulf increases the risk of further attacks.
President George W. Bush recently requested $87 billion U.S. from congress, to continue with the operations in Iraq and Afghanistan. 65 per cent of respondents consider both fronts as components of a single strategy against terrorism, a 12 per cent decrease since April.
