(CPOD) Nov. 26, 2003 – Former Vermont governor Howard Dean and retired general Wesley Clark are the top Democratic presidential hopefuls, according to a poll by Gallup released by CNN and USA Today. Dean and Clark would each garner the support of 17 per cent of respondents.
(CPOD) Nov. 26, 2003 – Former Vermont governor Howard Dean and retired general Wesley Clark are the top Democratic presidential hopefuls, according to a poll by Gallup released by CNN and USA Today. Dean and Clark would each garner the support of 17 per cent of respondents.
Connecticut senator Joe Lieberman and Missouri congressman Dick Gephardt are the only other prospective candidates with more than 10 per cent.
Eight of the nine presidential hopefuls participated in a debate earlier this week in Iowa. The next public meeting is scheduled for Dec. 9 in New Hampshire.
