Poles Want Troops Out Of Iraq
(CPOD) Dec. 1, 2003 – Recent confrontations and setbacks in Iraq are affecting public opinion in Poland, according to a poll by CBOS. 67 per cent of respondents want their troops to be recalled from the Persian Gulf.

More than 100 coalition troops lost their lives in November, including Polish commander Hieronim Kupczyk, who died after an attack on a convoy near Karbala on Nov. 6.
Poland currently has 2,350 soldiers in Iraq, the fourth largest contingent of the coalition after the United States, Great Britain and Italy.
