(Angus Reid – CPOD) Dec. 15, 2004 – A third of adults worldwide believe terrorists do not deserve the same rights as other criminals, according to the Voice of the People survey by Gallup International. 62 per cent of respondents in 60 countries disagreed with the statement.

In the Middle East, only 23 per cent of respondents supported granting terrorists the same rights, while 42 per cent of respondents in Africa concurred.
