(ARC-CPOD) Dec. 12, 2004 – Political parties are regarded as corrupt institutions in many countries around the world, according to a report by Transparency International. Asked to assess different sectors on a scale of one to five (one meaning not at all corrupt, five meaning extremely corrupt), respondents rated political parties with a mark of 4.0.

(CPOD) Dec. 4, 2004 – Cancer and HIV/AIDS are the main health concerns in the world, according to a poll by Gallup International. 42 per cent of respondents in 60 countries believe cancer is the most important disease in their country, while 27 per cent mention HIV/AIDS.
