(CPOD) May 24, 2004 – Less Americans think their country should have gone to war against Saddam Hussein’s regime, according to a poll by Harris Interactive. 47 per cent of respondents say taking military action against Iraq was the right thing to do, an eight per cent drop since January.

(CPOD) May 23, 2004 – The government of Silvio Berlusconi is losing public backing in Italy, according to a poll by Ispo/Allaxia. 56.4 per cent of respondents have a negative opinion of the current administration, an 11.6 per cent increase since April.

(CPOD) May 16, 2004 – Americans are questioning their government’s rationale for launching the coalition effort against the regime of Saddam Hussein, according to a poll by the Pew Research Center for the People and the Press. 51 per cent of respondents believe the United States made the right decision in using military force against Iraq, a four per cent drop since March.

(CPOD) Apr. 27, 2003 – Some Americans are convinced that the regime of Saddam Hussein possessed a nuclear, chemical or biological arsenal, according to a poll by Knowledge Networks released by the Program on International Policy Attitudes. 38 per cent of respondents believe Iraq had actual weapons of mass destruction before the coalition effort began last year.
