(Angus Reid Global Monitor) – Adults in the United States are satisfied with the way Barack Obama is handling his duties before he takes office, according to two recent public opinion polls. In a survey by TNS released by the Washington Post and ABC News, 76 per cent of respondents approve of the way Obama is handling the presidential transition.

(Angus Reid Global Monitor) – Many adults in the United States claim to know what their president-elect will try to achieve during his tenure, according to a poll by Bloomberg and the Los Angeles Times. 59 per cent of respondents say they have a good idea of where Barack Obama wants to lead the country, while 32 per cent think his goals are not very clear.
