(Angus Reid Global Monitor) – Adults in Ukraine believe two actions are always objectionable, according to a poll by the Kiev Gorshenin Institute of Management Issues. 88.4 per cent of respondents believe shoplifting is never acceptable, and 86.7 per cent of respondents feel the same way about drunk driving.

Americans Split on Abortion Availability

(Angus Reid Global Monitor) – Adults in the United States are divided over the specific circumstances in which pregnancy termination should be allowed, according to a poll by SRBI Public Affairs published in Time. 46 per cent of respondents think abortion should be legal when a woman’s health is endangered or when the pregnancy results from rape or incest, while 42 per cent believe a woman should be able to get an abortion is she wants one, no matter what the reason, up until the time the fetus is viable.

Dutch Reject Late-Term Abortions

(Angus Reid Global Monitor) – People in the Netherlands hold very strong views on pregnancy termination, according to a poll by Maurice de Hond. 64 per cent of respondents think an abortion in the first 12 weeks of gestation should be admissible in all circumstances, but only 17 per cent consent to allowing the procedure after more than 24 weeks of pregnancy.
